We all hope to plan the best route for our journey with support from the [expedition] headquarters.

Slowly but surely, the expedition is moving ahead towards its goal.

The current situation here is not very favorable, as the ice is drifting all the time, and therefore we have been carried four kilometers away from the route in the past several hours.
