We appreciate what they did for us. We just thank God that there's people out there who try to help others.

The cookbook was meant as a fundraiser to help us with construction costs of the chapel. And we can almost say it's the chapel the cookbook built, because it's helping us so much in that regard. Everything we're doing is to try to save the cemetery, everything we're doing … is with the hope that more people will come to and visit and appreciate it.

The height advantage did help a lot. They were a very physical team so they were pushing both of us around a little bit. But the rebounding seemed like it was a little bit easier just because we did have the height over them.

This woman was chronically sick and her family called us for help during the storm, but we couldn't put a vehicle on the roads, ... After the winds died down, there was no way to get to her because Highway 15 where she lived was blocked by fallen trees.

I'm very thankful. The generosity is overwhelming. It's good to see there are people willing to help.

I want to help give people the tools to connect with the land, to appreciate what is there, ... Doing things like exploring in the Loess Hills, people can learn how incredibly beautiful they are.
