We are not scheduled to meet with (MERC) until January 2006, so we're seeking an injunction.

We believe they are violating the law and imposing a changed working condition without bargaining to an impasse. We met on the fourth of August and indicated, while we preferred to keep our existing health care program, we agreed we needed more information to prove that their claims of having better insurance are true and intelligent.

We believe what the administration has done is illegal and improper, and will result in irreparable harm. The court has a right to decide who's right.

We're seeking damages for the wrongful exclusion of the benefits plan; we're seeking an injunction that requires them to start classifying people properly and allowing employees to participate in the employee stock-purchase plans. In our view, they can't continue to operate the way they're operating.

I rejected that totally. I don't consider seeking an injunction taking a hard line.

There's no reason that I can't. No judge has issued any kind of injunction that prevents me from doing that, and that's what this whole lawsuit is about.
