We are proud that the Avon Foundation shares our mission and has chosen to support our program. With these funds we will be able to provide screenings and clinical breast exams for more women in the Kansas City area.

We hope to have a big crowd. It is a great way to have fun and support your local library.

We'd like to see a pharmacy there, but not one that will take up half of the Landing. We support the existing stores that are still there. As space becomes available, we'd like to see a small bank, bakery or another type of restaurant there. We'd like to see something small fit into those vacant shops.

We're trying to give them all of the moral support we can,

It's one thing to support the Wright Amendment. It's another thing to support shutting down your home-district airport. What about the people who work at Dallas Love? What about the people who travel from Dallas Love? What about the companies that operate out of Dallas Love? Her decision smacks of heavy-handed government at its absolute worst.

The local support from the Chetek community was there as usual. We rely on it and are grateful for it. Whether people know David personally or not, they come out to help. We're proud to be associated with Chetek.
