We believe that a breakdown in the testing process as well as communications caused an undue burden on passengers and on this airline, and could have been avoided.

These costs are not insignificant for an airline that is fighting for its survival.

Such an accomplishment is significant in this industry. We are pleased with our achievements and proud of our people, but there is still progress to be made. We'd like to know if something's changed. Has the FDA increased inspections, have they increased in rigor, are new testing methods being used that are more sensitive in picking up problems?
