We can't order supplies or anything like that, but we know how to knit, crochet, tat and embroider. Other volunteers do needlepoint, so we can help customers with just about anything. We have volunteers stopping by to help file patterns and bring food to Barbara. We're just meeting a need.

We're going to close the store for Labor Day, which is typical, but I'm going to use the day to be at the booth at the fair. We'll have demonstrations of knitting, crocheting, tatting and Brazilian embroidery (as compared to three other types of embroidery), and we'll be able to tell folks when they can come in to the shop and learn the crafts for themselves.

We wouldn't think of doing anything different.

We have become friends, but first we were customers. Our skills and her needs just met, and we are just doing what needs to be done.

If I'm brought the wrong order at a restaurant, I don't send it back, because I don't want the waiter to get mad at me.

The ability to scribble notes, maps and drawings and then store them on a handheld is a great addition to our traditional data input through the on-screen keyboard or graffiti. And true to the Palm experience people have come to expect, the m100 is fun, flexible and very simple to use.
