We don't really know how to overcome this. We can invite people to meetings, but we can't make them come.

We are working to get them up on the weekend. That's our top priority.

Maybe that reflects the number of transportation-related concerns recently.

Some meetings' minutes are missing. There are a number of gaps.

They will have two- or three-hour meetings before the public arrives. They will hash out everything and the only thing the public gets to see is the vote, without the benefit of why Council Member A voted the way he did, or Council Member B voted the way she did. So we?re trying to clarify the definition of what a meeting is.

We are sending a letter right now that will arrive on Monday to request a meeting. We'll probably have meetings with them next week to explain the damage being done to the U.S. economy.
