We expected to see declines, but we didn't expect such severe declines. If nothing changes, we could be facing barren oceans or oceans of fish we can't utilize.

Pettitte did a great job, the kind I've come to expect of him while facing him so many times in the American League. But so did Derek.

We expect comparable changes,

You never really know what to expect. He did OK. He was overthrowing, but that's [something] to be expected. But he hung tough and kept us in there. He'll be a good one -- get that one out of the way and feel like he belongs.

Without the pension drag, we'd expect to make about $7.50 a share this year, ... We're not excusing the pension expense. But we'll be working through it, we'll get this behind us. Making the $10 (a share target) with the pension drag will be difficult but we're still committed to it.

We're still erratic. It's somewhat to be expected -- we have a lot of coaching changes. We've tweaked some things, so we're still somewhat on a learning curve.
