We had a lot of snow between 5.30pm and 6.15pm yesterday and it is too overcast today for the situation to improve.

There is a balance to be struck. We wouldn't want to undo 100 years of heritage in one stroke. But we have built a prototype fence, which fits on to the same portable chassis as [the movable] hurdles, and the birch is stuffed into the frame in the same way as now. The sections can be wheeled around and give us the chance to rest the ground. But we haven't done any schooling over it yet.

There was no point in being a stickler for time because the position was hopeless. There is a thaw on its way but it has not come soon enough for racing.

We're back in business today. The snow was a little bump in the road. We have a long year ahead of us. Obviously it affected business. We had some good traffic in the 59th Street store.

We can't tell you, for example today, what fraction of the water in the sky falls as rain and snow at any instant in time.

I believe Photoshop is in some way the contemporary darkroom, the creative area that all photographers have available today.
