We just keep fighting. There is no quit in Pocomoke. We have to reach into the bag. There's no other way to do it. It's like pulling a rabbit out of a hat with what we've lost this year.

We were there to be a support system. We were there to talk about different things and the kids wanted someone to hear them. That's why the principal (Tyrone Mills) wanted us there -- for anyone who needed us to listen.

Once we got Stacey Brown in foul trouble, I thought maybe we could go inside. We scored four straight baskets, and that put us right back into the game. Any little thing to get a momentum swing sometimes helps. When Fontaine got his second foul, I think that took some of the air out of them.

We talked the other day and some of our goals are close to the same. We'd like to be fighting for the conference championship. Mount Zion is going to be tough. They won it last year and have everybody back, but we want to be in it until the end. We have a lot of guys to replace, but these guys have been pretty successful in the past and they are working hard.

You can't get big in hockey. You need to be pliable... they've even taken fighting out of the game, so there's no more of those big huge guys who just fight.
