We need a governor who will function and treat his position as a job. It's not the position you take on issues, it's about being able to get things done.

This would essentially make the drawing of districts a judicial function. The Governor does not feel that this should be a judicial function.

Gov. Rell feels Len Boyle is doing a superb job as commissioner. The governor understands and shares many of the budget frustrations - but at her initiative, the state police will finally have a full complement of 1,248 troopers in 2006.

He's not Superman, so we're going to treat him like any other guy. Hopefully we can do a good job of keeping him off the bases. When he gets on there, he makes it happen.

The judge has backed comprehensively the doctors' assessment of the position and has explained the doctors' rights to treat Charlotte in the way they consider correct, and not to have to follow the instructions of the parents in the event that what they have been asked to do is against the doctors' conscience.
