We remain confident that we will be able to determine a probable cause to this terrible tragedy.

Regarding some of the issues raised by Mr. Salinger in recent days, they are again a combination of falsehoods and claims that are only partially based on the truth and, when taken out of context, are completely misleading.

There's a natural hesitance on the part of the regulator to believe that its own regulations and its own oversight would be anything other than acceptable.

We will get to this bottom of this tragedy. We will find out what happened and we will do everything humanly possible to prevent it from ever happening again.

We did fail last night. It is a tragedy, but it's a reversible tragedy and we will now put together those last final loose ends that we didn't have the time to do last night.

There will be stories in here of great pain, great tragedy, great brutality, ... because you can't run away from that because those are instructive.
