We set it up like a little jazz club with bistro tables.

What I'm trying to do is find a well-rounded activity program for them to select from. If we were visiting their town and didn't know what was there, it would be nice if a local person could give us some suggestions.

People leave our programs and say, wasn't that a nice little show? I take that as a compliment, because that means it looks like it just magically happened.

I'm comfortable singing jazz. The only thing I was concerned about is that everybody, even in jazz, has their own style. To me, the queen of doodling was Ella Fitzgerald, and scatting is something I never thought I could do.

We keep knocking at the door. One of these days we're going to break through.

We're the underdogs, and we're really starting to relish that opportunity.
