We think of ourselves as a large family. I am proud of our group and the atmosphere we generate.

She understands and knows all about the barbershop chorus. We are very lucky to have her.

We try to educate and recruit people to sing with us. We have two membership drives a year, but anyone is welcome to come to a meeting at any time if they are interested in becoming a member.

I urge residents to take just an hour out of their busy schedules to make a family emergency plan and prepare an emergency kit. The severe thunderstorms and devastating tornadoes over the weekend were a sobering reminder that emergencies can affect anyone, anytime. Being prepared to act quickly and having plans and supplies in place can eliminate some of the stress in a disaster situation.
