We want to enrich the experience students have at the high school and forge stronger connections between students, teachers and parents.

Once in a while our school has half days, and the teachers spend the afternoon 'in service,' which I think must be a group therapy for having to deal with us.

The students and the teachers are all shaken up. In my 20 years at the school, it is the first time that I have ever witnessed something like this.

All teachers are given before- and after-school library passes, which they may give to students.

.School will be back to normal on Wednesday. All students are expected to turn out, and the teachers should be there. We continue our deliberations and seek to iron out the situation.

The AIMS teachers have experience with a middle-school schedule, and we're thankful for their help.
