We've been putting an all-star team together that has been dysfunctional and troublesome. I think now they've got a program together that I'm happy that the vast majority of players are committed to. I think they'll figure it out.

I think we're in the midst of putting something incredible together.

We're finally jelling as a team. We saw glimpses of it all season. But now we're putting everything together every time we step on the field.

The team did a great job putting the car together to the new Chevy Gen IV engine and we were very fast. That's the way it goes sometimes. I was really trying hard mostly because the team and engine company deserves it. That's the way it goes I crashed. I got loose. We were trying to free up the car and that was my first qualifying simulation. Maybe the tires weren't ready and maybe I pushed too hard. The fact is I got loose and crashed.

It's a very, very troubling and troublesome development.

I'm not sure they can put it all together to beat Detroit or beat a Miami or a Cleveland. But I wouldn't bet against them.
