You shouldn't get bids just because you're minority. You should get bids because you're a good business owner and you're providing quality and service.

One of the big hurdles in today's business world is you have to have e-mail and Internet access.

I think that minority business owners should be up in arms over this. The government has never hit the 5% minority business contracting goal and now they're recommending eliminating the minimal opportunities that minorities have in doing business with the Federal government. It's unconscionable.

Maybe what you're wanting to do just isn't meant for that piece of land.
