Almost everything a person needs for identity theft is actually faxed to us on a daily basis.

It didn't take too long ... after the story broke for Prudential Financial to contact us and try to get a resolution to the matter.

We're having a tremendous amount of identity theft. One case took us to Atlanta. That's where the person had used (a resident's) Social Security and date of birth to purchase goods.

Arizona is the identity theft capital of the world. The Secretary of State's Office needs to do more to prevent the crime before it ever occurs.

Prudential's point of view was that, 'We are not the ones faxing the information,' which is ridiculous. They are the ones that solicited the business from doctors and clinics, and they are the ones setting up the protocols for receiving the information.

It's ridiculous to be sharing information that is sensitive in nature, whether it's financial or medical, by the use of faxes. We want Prudential to realize that their technology is out of date and [that] they are not paying attention.
