Prudential's point of view was that, 'We are not the ones faxing the information,' which is ridiculous. They are the ones that solicited the business from doctors and clinics, and they are the ones setting up the protocols for receiving the information.

It's ridiculous to be sharing information that is sensitive in nature, whether it's financial or medical, by the use of faxes. We want Prudential to realize that their technology is out of date and [that] they are not paying attention.

It didn't take too long ... after the story broke for Prudential Financial to contact us and try to get a resolution to the matter.

Almost everything a person needs for identity theft is actually faxed to us on a daily basis.

We know that the more education you can get -- where you can fine-tune your skills and get additional information -- the better you're going to be able to do your work.

HHS has removed basic health information on one site at the demands of an extremist group, and has completely omitted all content about GLBT youth on another. This is outrageous and unacceptable. We're proud of Rep. Baldwin's call to action on this matter of basic fairness.
