During one of the big snows last winter, Barbara had a handful of us over on Friday night, and Saturday we went to David and Eric's for soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.

If you see me on Friday, you'll see different material on Saturday night.

Between 11 and midnight (Friday night) I'm going to make sure that I'm out on that football field for at least a half hour shaking hands and thanking students. At 6:45 a.m. (today) I'm going to hand out doughnuts to the students. I want everybody to feel a part of this. It's not a PR stunt; it's just who I am. I really appreciate all the support we've gotten this year.

I definitely wanted to leave "Saturday Night Live" at a time when I still enjoyed doing the show. I didn't have a supreme confidence that I would be immediately successful after leaving the show, but I just knew it was the right time to test myself and get out there and try other things.
