(Forecasters are) talking about winds increasing to as high as 100 mph, in gusts and out over the water.

The winds were blowing 50 mph and gusting to 70. I hit a par-3 with my hat.

It's hot out here. It's low humidity, in the single digits. Winds are gusting to 35 to 40 mph.

When the winds pick up above 35 or 40 mph, you might as well hang it up and hit the nearest bar.

It's still going to be hot, with scattered thunderstorms that won't produce much rain.

We think this is probably the hottest day we have seen thus far this summer, at least that is the case in the Plains.
