It's an amazing opportunity to spread the message that all children can learn.

If in this grade differences are celebrated, not isolated, then when kids get older they don't see differences. They don't see color. They don't see race. They don't see religion. They just see human beings.

I believe in the philosophy known as 'inclusion' that brings special needs and develops the classroom so it supports learners' styles.

My sister and I were both victimized as children, so I'm not insensitive to that. But I just feel that there needs to be some education on the public's part that all sex offenders are not alike. Not all of them have such a huge risk of re-offending. Pedophiles are the highest level. An 18 year old with an underage girlfriend? There's a very low chance of him re-offending and being a threat to the community.

Most of those children don't have one-tenth of the opportunity my children had, and I don't think that's fair.
