We need the space badly for public meetings and community gatherings.

We've participated in about 65 community meetings over the last 15 months or so. We've done that for a number of reasons. One is, it's very clear to us that there was a lot of misinformation around about what this proposal was and what it wasn't.

It became hard to keep two or three people for meetings, but I believe that when people are gathered together, there is strength.

My dream is to see it used. That's what we saved it for.

We ran into problems getting the drawings and permitting together. A lot of the people involved with the project had so much work on their hands, on top of this.

We'll go to the community engagement meetings. We're going to keep on fighting. We cannot let this go.
